  I chose Driving School BABA Allam because I initially started at a different driving school with a manual car. There, I was recommended to try learning with an automatic car instead, so I switched to Driving School BABA Allam.
  
  My instructor was really calm and always made me feel safe. He also has many years of experience and could give me lots of inside tips for the exam, so I felt well prepared. My confidence behind the wheel grew tremendously after switching to an automatic car.
  
  The car we used was a new KIA Niro Automatic, and I also took my exam in the same car. I passed the exam on my first try on 11 July 2026.
  
  I am 40 years old and had no previous driving experience before starting driving lessons here in Amsterdam. I really liked that the lessons were in English and that I could choose the dates and the length of each lesson. The area near Sloterdijk where we practised is also the same area where the actual driving exam takes place, which was a big advantage.
  
  In the beginning, I took things really slowly, but once the exam date was set, we started driving every day for a few hours during the final weeks. I noticed that driving every day improved my driving skills a lot, as I had the chance to work on and correct my mistakes the very next day while they were still fresh in my memory. Just before the exam, we also practised all three possible exam routes, which helped a lot! In the end, I needed 40 hours of automatic driving lessons in total.
  
  I’m very happy with my experience and would definitely recommend Driving School BABA Allam, especially to anyone who is nervous about driving or prefers learning in English.
